Icelandic budget airline Iceland Express announced details of its end of summer ticket sale today, offering passengers incredibly cheap flights to Iceland for a limited time only.
Costing as little as EUR 70, GBP 56 or DKK 535, including taxes and fees, flights to Iceland (and back if you want) have never been cheaper. Bookings are being taken on flights to Iceland from Barcelona, Berlin, Billund, Copenhagen, Eindhoven, Frankfurt Hahn, London, and Paris.
Journeys are to be taken between now and the 15 September 2008 and reservations have to be made online either today or tomorrow (Tuesday 19 August).
Iceland Express stresses that the promotional fares are first-come-first-served and that there is limited availability.
Iceland Express is the only low-cost airline operating flights to Iceland and has been operational since 2003. Five years later, the company now offers flights to Iceland from 14 destinations around Europe.
Iceland Express will begin operating two new fuel-efficient Boeing 737-700 aircraft in September and begin a new route to London Gatwick in spring 2009.
